Sweet Corn and Groundbaits

We are the exclusive North American and United Kingdom distributor for a range of innovative corns and Grounbaits from an exceptional Hungarian company.

During 2006 a small quantity of flavored sweet corn was stocked by Fishing World in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and although there were only 60 jars they were quickly sold out to the Ontario, Canada carp fishermen.

Big Bob acquired a number of the jars and together with Peter Starczala who at the time was the store manager at Fishing World and Randy Estarbrooks we quickly realized that this product was unique in its quality, flavor and firmness.

When the concept of forming Big Bob's Tackle & Baits Co. was decided in late 2007 Bob contacted the company with the view of becoming the exclusive distributor and he traveled to Hungary to visited the company, CUKK, in October 2007. The Company

The company was founded by its present owner and director, Laszlo Juhász in 1982. Since then the number of CUKK products has been continuously expanding and they export to many countries. The feedback that they have received from anglers all over the world regarding their products has been very positive and instrumental in the development of their product range.

The company has been continuously growing and the sales have been expanding each year.

The company employs in excess of 100 and their quality and control processes are second to none in the manufacturing process

CUKK developed its business strategy so that it employs stockpile management and their staff are available day and night in the event that unexpected orders are received and thus can be fulfilled almost immediately.

CUKK produces a wide range of different products, many of which are it's own patents. Their products have changed angler's customs and methods of fishing.

Big Bob's are initially offering their range of flavored sweet corns and unique ground baits and we will expand the product range throughout 2008 and 2009.

The success of CUKK Company over the past 20 years was due to the insight of Laszlo Juhász in building an incredibly unique laboratory!

In 1988 he put an experimental lake into operation which has an aisle in the middle from which a spiral staircase makes it possible to go to the bottom of the lake.

From there the life, nutrition and reproduction of fish and their reaction to anglers, baits and hooks can be observed closely through the panoramic windows.

It can be observed how the fish takes the bait, or how it does not, and in the latter case, the reason for not doing so.

In this way CUKK have been able to develop their unique range of products and answered the time old question of what happens on the lake bottom.
